We're sorry, we can't trade-in your phone today.

Below, we have a few reasons and what can be done about it.

Your device might not be on our list

Your phone might be too new to have made it onto our list, might be unavailable in the New Zealand market, or simply one of the HUGE number of phones around the world that we just don't know about.

We can't establish the condition of your phone

Because you can't turn your phone on we aren't able to establish the grading of the phone and as a result we are unable to accept your phone for trade in.

You can Restart your quote if you believe this was an error.

We don't trade in phones worth less than $99

Your phone might be too old or be too damaged, but there are things you can do with it to save it from clogging up that top drawer.

You can recycle your phone

Your phone has many precious materials that can be stripped down and recycled - rather than these materials being lost in landfill - and many options to recycle such as Post it to Vodafone, drop it off at any retail store or recycle directly through Re:mobile.

Or you can sell your phone

Your phone could still have worth to someone! You can sell it on the second-hand market - you could try Trade me or Facebook Marketplace.

If you do sell it make sure you backup your phone if possible and clear all your personal data - here’s how to back up and clear your phone.
